Ok here we go! ^_^
I worked on this wallpaper for about 2 weeks and I hope that you people on animepaper will like it!
First of all I've took this scan
of Arika from Mai Otome that I collected long time ago and I've made a vector with illustrator (here it is a sample of the omake 
).
Than I thought a lot about the background...and after two or three tries I put on this one.
I know that a space background is somehow a banal choice with mai-otome, but I've always wanted to make a space background in a wallpaper..so I've searched in deviant art for some tutorials, and there are a lot of them!I've read almost twenty of them and then put up a mix, in the end you can see the result. (with photoshop).
I think that the falling star fits with Arika's character well, because she is "a believer", or else, she gives me that feeling while watching the anime. ^_^
Fonts are the same that Felesya used in one wallpaper time ago (so thanks to her for told me the names!).
For now only 1280*1024 I will upload other resolutions soon, and I'll post a complete omake on my site when it will be ready!(the site, not the omake ^_^")
what else to say..I put a lot of efforts in this wallpaper so I hope you'll like it! ^_^
