This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Not my first wallpaper, but my first here, and definitely my first with a picture that was extremely pixely from the get go. After a ridiculous amount of time I was satisfied with the look of Yuffie, which is surprising since it's so soft and I normally like crisp looks.

I admit, I wanted to use those cheesey old sparkle effects. Back when those were extremely popular I had to program or knowledge of how to do it, so I'm feeding my inner dork with this one.

I can't really tell... Hell I wouldn't if you didn't even mention it. So... you have done a really good job at that :)

Besides... CG usually looks better soft. :) Think of it as a sort of... anti-aliasing.. if you will.

Doesn't look pixellated from here, you sure did a heck of a job cleaning it up. The bg colour really fits Yuffie and it looks soft and feminine. Very nice wall indeed.

The character is too blurry, too much filtered. the bg however is nice, the brushworks is great!

Beautiful. That 'soft' look worked exceptionally well in this case, particularly as you mentioned you don't use it often. Yuffie looks very natural, not pixelated at all, in fact. The background is very interesting, especially the way it goes from dark at the base to white/nearly white at the top, and with all those designs in the middle. Those are very well done, by the way. The shine around her huge shuriken-object also works very well - I don't think it looks dorky at all. ^_^ All in all, a beautiful wall. *grins again*
