@amerie: well for episode one they dropped the ball a little, they could have used better motivation and direction in setting up the whole rich vs. poor, and they could have not made this whole anti-Britian thing, seriously Japan = not that great

then there's the absolutely out of whack motivation for the character, for example when CC gets shot he starts to act shocked (as expected) but then when CC kinda still talks to him after the bullet to the head he calms himself

well having Britannia (aka Britian) just randomly start killing everyone makes me think that they got lazy in trying to think up of a motivation for what makes the bad guys bad
