This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

It all started with a scan by AP's own vdFritz (check it out here). Then I vectored the image of Roy and added my own little touches to him. Then I had *far* too much fun making the parody magazine cover. And then, to top it all off, I held my own little photoshoot with a stunt-double magazine to get the edges and highlights/shadows right.

I am planning on doing more with the vector of Roy in the future (and maybe put it up in the Scans section if anyone is interested) since I really like it a lot - hopefully a more serious piece. ;P

I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I did making it!

Yeah Mustang alway is 1 of my favourite character of FMA.....at least in this wallpaper he not yet lost his eye...and you manage to make it look like magazine....good job dude...>.<
