Ta Dahhhh! After forever of painting it's finally out. I originally made this for the Aqua Scenic contest at Animepaper.net but with so much homework, labs, and exam I had to keep stop working on it.
My aim in this wallpaper, was to create a calm beautiful simple scenery. I went to the ocean for the first time in January and loved it! So I had so much fun with this wallpaper. Best fun in a long time! I have been working on an outer space wallpaper but I’m doing vectoring lines for it and … omg I have no patience for vector lines. I mean at first they are fun, but painting is what I love. You get to always do something different ya know XD. The only reference I had was some stock images for the clouds on some parts, but even then I made them my way. No tutorials while painting either, I mean I try to read them, but they never come out the way I want. So I did them my way and how I like it. I did not want to add a seagull or seashells for the record! I wanted it simple, and if you go thru a lot of photos you barely barely see any in them. This wall is just how I imagined it and better!
My favorite part was the ocean, so many colors. It took the longest but I think I grew from it. My least favorite part is her outlines, I even painted over some of them because I didn’t like it’s look and tweaked it lol. The Clouds was fun as well! Easiest part was the sand, I loved it’s colors to work with.
I hope this wallpaper leaves you with a calm serenity feeling, and takes you to a peaceful place!
Time to make it was off and on 9 days.. and I don't mean the just days. Like the combined hours. I spent so much time over every detail and redoing and changing stuff. Staying up to 6am in the morning and working so hard on this!
Thanks to my boyfriend Kyle who cheered me and gave me encouragement when I was sad since it didn’t make it into the contest in time, and for letting me have his pen tablet XD. And to my best friend triplet aka Rhonda21.

LOL P.S.: I don’t even have a wide-screen res, I just think it’s more fun to paint on, more canvas to work with :P.
Edit: fixed the leg some, sorry.
