As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

It took me about 3 weeks to finally decide on what character and image to use for this wall. I wanted to use Soji, but couldn't find the right one. Anyways, I like this one of Tetsunosuke. So I wanted it to express him but I didn't want it to be crowded. I also changed from what I originally was going to design.

Bloodprints with blue colors are very unique. Reversed concept in them is really creative. They are harmonized with the Samurai's cold and sharp face.
