This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I wanted to make some dark wallpaper , so I started to look for scans , and I found this.
It's a perfect scan I think ^^

Well I'm absolutely satisfied with the result and I hope you think the same :)

YAY~! First comment >=3 hehe I hope x3 Most definetly love the grunge in this wallpaper! The colours are nicely chosen, and they blend well. And it's surprising they go with the scan xD But hey ;P Anything is possible. I think the scan could do with a little cleaning, but love the texture ^^b

it looks kinda messy on the thumbnail, but when you see it full-view...that's something else.

Mmm, this chick always reminds me of one of my classmates...
and yea, thats quite some dark wall, maybe even too dark
i mean, somebody who doesnt know she has wings might just miss them, they definitely dont stick out too much
the dreamy feel is great, but id really appreciate some sort of highlight for the character, an aura of whatever

I liked it, but I didn't think it was a great movie like all the FF7 fanboys make it out to be. So while I enjoyed the movie, I think it's extremely overhyped. The visuals and CG are gorgeous, and it's nice to see all the characters again, but the story itself is pretty generic and had lots of plotholes.

lol you do know that he is a SHE. and I love this series, and I love this wall.

One of the best dark walls i have seen! >.< The scan is PERFECT with the wall! It blends in very well with the nice colorful grungy background. Love the texture!

Absolutely amazing. This is just one of those things where my jaw just doesn't seem to want to shut. *stands up and gives pat on back* I'm definetly adding this to my favorites. There's not any suggestions I can come up with and I can't see any flaws. It's just *sob* so amazing *sniffle*

I like the grungy background and the dark theme. I'm satisfied with this wallpaper but maybe you should add some Gothic font saying, "Dream of Death" or something relating to this wallpaper. I agree that the scan really blended in with the background. Keep the work and effort up!

The title, "Dream of Death," is another attraction that might be placed on the same wall in a wistful font. There is balance of black on the subject's hair and on the wings, where black is coloured in a thoughtful, nonchalant manner. Between the darkness are subtle streams of blue and green light remniscent of stained glass.

It's a good wallpaper, it suits Reki.

So not fair :P i just downloaded this scan the other day hoping to make a wall out of it, oh well. you did a really good job with this wp, the colors are nice and calm (very angelic). the black of his suit could be alittle muted though or maybe it's just that he needs to be blended into the bg alittle better. overall i really like this wp, good job! :) very very good job ^^
