I like the frozen effect as well, but I agree that the wall may seem a little too busy. It would probably look better without the circular thingy on the right side. The background is good though. Nice tone. ^^

I think the castle you chose for the bg looks a bit too fairytale-esque, though. A cathedral would've been better. The circular thing on the right takes away from the overall effect of the wall. Nice use of fog to give it a cool feel, though.
