After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Nice, it's definitely 3D. Which just reminds me anime faces should never be 3D due to general creepiness ;_; Well done overall :3
As for crits, her face should be a lot smoother than it is, the unevenness in her jaw and cheeks makes her look bumpy and a bit like dough compared to the rest of the picture.
Wow great work on creating a 3D look from a 2D image. *___*
I really love the detail in the hair and the colors used on it. But i have to agree with Nat on the face part. It would've been nice if you could make a smoother shape for her face. It just looks kinda bumpy at the moment. Everything else looks great as it is though. Even the blurred background looks great here, and i love the text work in this one too. =)
>D it's nice how the art style fitted with 3D as well as 2D
the color use is so pretty :33
alright complaint time
1. i'd perfer her with more hair on the top left and bottom right
2. ;A; sashi her face outline is so uneven >>>> bumpy face
it's quite nice though how you made a pretty dull scan into something interesting

Another nice painting :D
The hair looks awesome...but,I wish you made her eyes with some kind of red glow, like in the scan..it would look creepier that way,and much more likable for me,hehe...
Also, the mouth look too dark to me...
And actually I love the skin and the uneven edges of it ^^' +fav
Almost better than the original! Or should I say, better than the original! :D
You did it well. It should be very hard to change a 2D scan to a 3D. :) Good job! :)
I knew that I did the right thing when I clicked the thumbnail to view this, indeed this is one righteous Yoshitoshi ABe wall! At first I thought you were walling Rakka (because of the feathers) but I then I saw that the series was SEL.. am a bit disappointed but even so I can't deny the exquisite craftsmanship of this wall. Deserves a fave increment, hear hear!
Another lovely paint job from you! Her hair and eyes look awesome compared to the original scan. Her face does look a bit bumpy and all but since it's a paint job, it kind of goes well with it. Nice work! :3
I like the pianting and mood of the walls but like most have said her face is kinda bumpy and that compromises the feel of the wall. i have no painting skills what so ever so i cant tell you how to fix it but if you could i would love to see it
I love it! I love it! I love it!
this is definitely a HUGE improvement from the scan! I love you for making this wallpaper *gives you a box full of chocolate* it should be featured!
lain's one of my favorite anime characters and her eccentricity can be mistaken for creepiness... she looks awesome in this wallpaper
How do you keep pushing out great walls on a regular basis? You've drastically improved the scan and the wallpaper does feel 3D-ish and as Nat said, a little creepy. XD It's not a bad thing at all because it fits the wall.
I also like the wall feels similar to other your walls because your work has that sense of spirit, almost like we could feel your artistic license on it when we view it which is an amazing feat. I also seriously love the typography on this, it's almost like you know what kind of font is perfect for every wall. Awesome job. =)
Nice. I'm +faving this one... because here you improved the scan and made it (due to higher contrast) a lot more dramatic and - as the other commentors stated - creepy even. What I still don't like about your wallpapers is the heavyily blurred background .. but other than that they are always perfect :).
I love your painting style. So many good wallpapers, and I can always tell when it's your work. The 3D feel is stunning, so yes -- you did an amazing job. The 3D feeling doesn't bother me one bit.
I have a question about the eyes. I'm curious as to why you didn't keep the red from the original scan. As for the hair, why did you remove the braid?
