As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Here I am once again XD Ah, er... no... At the moment i just like do do some Wallpapers and I like this one.
I'm not a fan from the Anime, I like the Manga much more, but I found this Vector from `MTL and had the idea for this Wallpaper.
I think it tourned out pretty good and it's an other style. Actually I didn't need really long for this because I had a clear idea, so I don't know (like always)

Edit: So, you said it's too red... so I changed Renas color a bit so that she stands out a little more. And I also removed the text.

The Manga is really better than the Anime O_O but however, I liked this wallpaper XP the color is use very well for this vector~ Hmm... so like bloody atmosphere~ ^^

Rena seems very out of place in this wall, not her setting at all really. As stated before this wall is very red. I would probably tone down the stars as well. Im not sure if the black fuzz on and around her axe and her legs is intentional, but it takes the focus away from creepy factor (if intended to be creepy). If you made Rena stand out a bit more, and maybe gave her axe more emphasis the wall would be a bit more coherent. I personally think that the text isn't needed, and takes away from the feel of the wall, maybe making less of a focus and bit smaller.
