This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

THIS IS A DEDICATION TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO HAVE BEEN SO NICE TO ME. GUYS THIS WALL IS FOR YOU!

I'm sure you're gonna think "What the heck? She has been walling nonstop this whole week? She's insane!" or something like that. Actually, this has been an old project that I managed to finish today. It's just that finals are coming and I won't be able to post any other walls soon.

It includes character vectoring and complete repainting of the bg which was the hardest part because of the text in the scan.

Same old same, comment if you like it. :3

Hmmm...something is a little off about this wallpaper for me. Probably it's the ice-cream. Because I see the wall has a pretty dark and mysterious kind of atmosphere, and poofs! An ice-cream pops out! XD But, I have to say the vector job is amazing, and the painting work is not too bad either. Not my favourite of your lot of lovely walls, but it's definitely good stuff. Keep the walls coming when you're done with your finals! =]

Kotomi (hotness!)+ storm-and-fire = instant fave.
Love the vector work, its almost flawless!
The atmosphere and colours are all perfect, and her expression is just right.
If I have a complaint though its that the background is too blurred making Kotomi stand out too much - especially since she's vectored.
That aside this wall is going to my desktop, and as I mentioned earlier - fav.

lol you read my mind. xD even if you didn't finish the entirety of all three walls in the course of this week, being able to so quickly finish up three of them is nonetheless impressive...and insane.

i know what the original scan looks like, so excellent job with getting rid of all that text. i am not too pleased with the composition of the original scan though, what with the girl, the chair, and the table (similar sizes) lined up like that across the image. but that is not your fault since it's the artist who chose this set up.

i love the the mellow colors and the mood that they set, but unfortunately, i have a natural bias against such blur. >__< i don't like it that i have to say that i don't like the blur, especially with your awesome dedication, but i have to be honest with myself.

you are artistically talented to a degree i can't imagine, but it's just my personal preferences getting in this way this time. ^^; sorry. anyway, good luck on your finals. :D

Darn you guys are fast at walling. lol! and I cant even manage to make one wall in the past couple of months. ~_~ Anywhooo, *enough ranting* overall really nice vectoring. Though parts of her hair and ice cream are a little wobbly. x] Mostly around the piece of hair that overlaps the bottom of her face, and the top part of her hair on the right. But, I'm still so amazed at how you can do this so quickly. xD You guys are so talented and I demand you share some of your artistic skills! xD

This is such a gorgeous Clannad wallpapers I've seen yet! I love it. I have no criticisms, just pure praise. The dark colors really set a perfect tone for the scene and capture Kotomi's childhood beautifully.
