After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Gotta love ghibli art. I love this cover, however it never has gotten any love when it comes to wallpapers (well, from what I've seen, i could be very wrong and there is a much better wallpaper than mine with this scan lol). Anywho, took this scan and extended it a ton, keeping that cloud ring to give the scene a more surreal look. I also added more colors/lighting effects, a few textures to make the scene more dramatic, and added a simple sun as well to make it a sunset (rise?) scene. I also outlined nausicaa's black lines to make her pop out more in the scene, so it's not just all blended in.

Haven't had time to make wallpaper in awhile, so hopefully you'll all like it ^_^.

For fairy-wings, my only reason to make nausicaa wallpaper... <3 emoticon

Wow it almost looks like you drew the whole thing by hand it's so detailed and the colors look like a beautiful water color painting, I like how you kept it simple so you could focus more on Nausicca and her deep emotional expression as she faces the wind. A+ and a fav you did a great job 8)E emoticon

That's an amazing work. I really like the atmosphere of the light between the sand, it's really good. The colors combination works actually well and it looks like a beautiful painting. Instant fav ;)

I was the first to comment. Seeing as it was made for me. And you don't even like Nausicaa at all, saying it is your least favorite Ghibli movie. And I was the one who told you to redo the outlines on Nausicaa... using my tablet! ;_;

EDIT: FINE, since I have to put a detailed comment saying what I think.(because you asked me to) I LIKE THIS WALL A LOT. Colours, texture, lines, theme, everything. It's my fav Ghibli movie, my fav scan out of all the Nausicaa ones. I even drew a fanart of this scan before. DUH I LIKE IT. :P My fav of your Nausicaa walls so far. I'm your #1 fan, isn't it obvious what I'm going to say??

I've never been a die-hard Ghibli fan before, but I've always greatly appreciated their work. I'm glad to see that there is still much love for Ghibli, especially Nausicca.

I'm glad you went with the existing background, since honestly it's the best choice for the scan. The surreal effect and textures also fit so very nicely with the wall itself. It gives the wall a more aged feel, which I really like. You did a terrific job extending the scan as well, hell, that alone is more than deserving of a favorite. Add in everything else that you did and I found a new wall to put on my desktop. There isn't a single thing about this wallpaper that I'd change about it. It's perfect as is. Excellent work!

Really good, I'm a sucker for watercolor art. Even if you didn't intend to do so, it's seems purely handmade. Great job extended the wallpaper also. (+fave)

Nausicaa Valley Of The Wind is a really good anime that's i watch on dvd 3 times and don't get enough for it! isn't the scan the dvd cover? well it looks really good,you're wallpaper,the sky color is really nice and romantic! good work on it

Awesome work man looks like this was a painted one by the colors and how the background is you could. Love the colors and like the old fashion character looking into the sunset a classic love how you did it and like the colors but btw what anime is this and like how you made this widescreen good wallpaper for a widescreen screen.

The way you colored this reminds me a lot of all the HDR images my friend is making me take ~_~
That said HDR of course looks good, so this is pretty amazing to remind me of that. I love Nausicaa, and everything else Ghibli, so yeah this is awesome. Looking at your other wallpapers you seem to have the coloring down, or lighting if that makes sense. I also have a few of yours I didn't know about.

Wow, the unity of your work and the original scan is excellent! Although I would prefer Nausicaa to be sharper, I think is wallpaper is very pretty and her expression of determination is more effective because she has more to space to stare into, lol. I must fave!
