Since I'm pretty sure I'm gonna receive a comment like that again, I'll just say this beforehand: I don't make wallpapers to please anyone, I do it because I enjoy it and well, I happen to like walls like this.
Moving on... It's been a while since I've done a non-vector wall, so I decided to do this wall. This, along with some other characters' bankai, were in my to-do list... I always thought Renji was an awesome character (shame that he gets owned by Kubotite so often...) so I decided to do his bankai first. I traced his silhouette from a scan and added onto it to make it look like his bankai uniform. I then traced Zabimaru's head/mane thing from the screencap. The rest of the segments were actually done 'freehand'. I then positioned the segments and added the reiatsu glow that connects them. A lot of touch-ups and random little details... Then... texture, and finally, colour. I also have a greenish version and a bluish version made, but highknees said this was the best out of all the other colours... So yeah.
