After the darkness of my last two pieces ( What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted? and Nothing Is Quite As It Seems), I felt it was time for something a little bit brighter - a little. The starter for this was the lyrics of Son Et Lumière by The Mars Volta, which feature. The line "I need sanctuary in the pages of this book." Sprung forth the idea of the 100 Acre Wood world, and the book it's kept in. In KH canon, the book was found by Merlin in tatters, and that got me thinking of who would want such a book (other than heartless)? This linked me to the idea of Roxas' search for his other half, and how he would, perhaps, done anything to get anything associated with Sora... Long story short Roxas got the book and here it is on his desk - covered in sketches of his dreams and Hayner's scribbles. That's the concept behind it.

Designwise this has been my most intense, first time cg/colouring-in sketches. A good 60+ layers in this thing, and took about 6 hours. Material for this piece was from KHU, and CGTextures.
