Inspired by the most badass thief alive.
There didn't seem to be any Lupin papers, so a few months ago, I tried making one. I couldn't get it right and eventually gave up, only to rediscover it yesterday and pick it back up. I was origenally going for a kind of james bond look, but couldn't quite get it to look right, so ended up trying for more of a retro 70s direction. I'm not sure I'm compleatly happy with it, but then again I never really am. :/
And now I've got the Lupin theme stuck in my head p(ToT)q emoticon

Wow! I love retro 70s kinda walls, they make me feel like saying "psychedelic" is cool! Great colors, text, image... everything works great for such a fun wall. The balance with the main character and the background is just right and the rainbow translucent stream you have going around the front really bring the entire wall out in a fun positive way. Great work! .(n_n). emoticon

Nice retro wallpaper which fits to the "oldie" style of Lupin i. Good thing that you thinked for both normal and widescreen resolution. Also pretty long when I have seena wallpaper from this anime. So you should get a favorite from me.

It's nice too see a Lupin 3rd wallpaper. I think the retro style is really neatly done.
The only things I'm a little bothered with here are the print on your texture (though it looks great otherwise) and that the text should be textured as well.

I like this wallpaper. The color scheme is good, and the concept of the kinda retro, 1970-ish theme works well and plays more into Lupin considering when the anime was made. It was a good idea to fade the rainbow somewhat while over Lupin so that he is not obstructed as a vocal point and the rainbow maintains the course and helps continue to set the theme. Add in the good background and you have a good wallpaper here. Not enough for a +Fav, but enough for me to give you a nod of approval.

I honestly thought I'd never see a Lupin paper here. You sir, have pleasantly surprised me (and your name ends in "86" too. Its fate :3)
I love the retro look! the little spiral behind him reminds me a little of 1970s james bond (not sure why, but it does). Aslo, for some reason, the rainbow makes me want rice crispy treats. Did I mention I'm nuts?

Its the king! lupin! this is a very cool wall. i got the 70's feel right way! good job! its also got that "vintage vinal record dust jacket from the fea market" feel too! im kinda confused by the glasses, i pride myself on being a super lupin fan, but i dont remember our kind thief wearing specs before... oh well A+!
