After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Well it's hard to explain but it can be a problem in some case. My bakuman wallpaper is not concerned since the original size is way bigger than a wallpaper. An svg whose original size is than of a wallpaper can be in trouble with pattern filling.

Not a problem for v6, we only offer svg output in original size, only png for resized images, thus your image looks fine resized

Okay this wall has some background, basically I put it together with a series of 3 scans and then re-drew the character. The main focus of the wall is supposed to be the plane, and the background not so much the girl. FIRST i created this wallpaper for www.inoodles.net for the 100 themes project, then I wanted to enter it in the AP vs. Elite contest but since I posted it online for 1-2 days already I was disqualified :(. I really like the wall and am very glad that it can at least be entered for the inoodles "Illusion" Wallpaper theme. Once again another wall promoting my group Shinkai Brilliance =D! and thats basically it.
Story/scene: A scene of sayuri watching the Bela Cielo fly off into the distance, watching the illusion of a city she once knew trapped up on the tower.

RECOMENDATION: Watch The Place Promised in our Early days! Its a masterpiece of a movie and truly defines the nex-gen of background art for anime. =D!

ANSWER to comments: The detail on sayuri is lacking because sadly thats how Shinkai makes his characters :(. Ill think of somehting...hehehe

I'm not sure about the aesthetic function of the 'pole' in the middle of the city. (I bet it's something from the movie, which ofcourse, I didn't watch). Apart from that, this wallpaper looks fan-tas-tic (especially the light effects on the building in the foreground and clouds). +fav

It really is nice. The painted look is just right for this movie.
The only thing bothering me is the way you painted the girl. You should add some more details, maybe shadows, because it looks too simple.
But everything else is nice, especialy the clouds. ^^

This wall is definitely very striking and vast, but I still can't get over how the girl looks pasted in. I know that she's not the focus, but it's just an low point for me in this wall. Anyways though, it's not your fault, so good job ^^

I have bought and seen the movie. It's a great movie and I can't believe that you made this wall from 3 different scans. I like the look and a composition of the background. It has a dream-like feel to it. But I love it! I like the colors and the floating clouds just taking in the the brilliance of the wind.

Shinkai does beautiful artwork and now every time i see something by him, i think about your group and your walls =P i saw it as an entry for the Elite vs World Contest and said to myself: that's slaka's work... too bad you had to withdraw and it can't win points for the World Alliance =(

i am a bit confused about the lighting in this piece though, because that cloud over on the right side contradicts the lighting on the floating object and the foreground girl + crumbled wall thing. but again, these are pretty images and you've done a great job of creating this wall! =]

To put it bluntly, You captured the look and feel of this movie perfectly and I was sad to see you DSQ'd from the challenge. But that was due to a unfortunate mis-read of the rules.

I really love this wall though, and wanted to say you would have gotten my vote if it had been left in the competition. +fav
