This wallpaper took me about 7 or 8 hours to make it. Seven layers of effects and the scan. The scan was quite ugly, but after 2 hours of working on the scan it came out looking better. After that I softened up the shadows to give it a more realistic feel. With the background that took me 5 or 6 hours to make. Combining a ton of different effects and adding some grunge stuff and it came out the way it is now.
The words are supposed to be really faded like that. A lot of grunge stuff is like that. Unfortunately everbody doesn't seem to understand my style of making wallpapers. That and this is only my second wallpaper I've made.
And the scan is SUPPOSED TO STAND OUT FROM THE BACKGROUND. That's just the way I make wallpapers. I make the character stand out from the background. I don't like blending them together like some people do.
