Oh wow, this is a nice wallpaper. The brushes and colors you choose go well together.
There are some things I'd like to suggest about the placement of the character. The top part of his head is chopped off, maybe bring the picture down or shrink it a little so we can see the top of the hair. This will also help balance the wallpaper a bit.
Also, I think it'd be best to move him to the left instead of having him on the right side. Especially with the way Gokudera's face is positioned, having him on the left will make it look like he has more room in front of him and users can place their icons on the right, having Gokudera 'look' at the icons. If you still want to keep him on the right side of the wall, then maybe flipping the character so it looking to the left should be good.
Other than the placement, everything else looks excellent. That green squiggle could be changed to red/yellow to go with the overall color scheme.

It looks like a very simple wall, but with all the lights in different shapes and colors, it looks very detailed :)

Nice fiery look you got there. The black spaces at the corners are sort of uneven maybe you should move everything a bit to balance it out, but thats just imo. anyways a totally awesome wall, awesome job!

About the vertical position it was better to put him like that because the scan itself doesn't show the top of his head...and I like the scan that way so I didn't make a vector...

I really like the effects and the simplicity.
Those brushes and the color theme are really good < 3
However, those 2 curves just don't belong...
I suggest you remove them and make the text bigger using another font.
Other than this, the wall has a really nice look ^3^

I think even without a quote, your wall works very well. The colors on his face and the globes of light around it make his face paler which work perfectly. I have the book this image came from and you gave a flat 2D image life. Thank you for sharing!
