While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I really enjoy working in this wall all do I don't have much experience. Well the scan was from here http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/scans/Carnelian/item74354/
I just extracted the character from the scan the created the background and after a lot of strugle with the wall and all of the guys from seccion zero this was my final result. So hope you enjoy my wall.

Really a great background, everything is well worked ;-)
The moon is good, the birds fit with the scene; the mountains on the rear too.
Reflexions on water are goods.
The girl with that sword is good too.
Good job.

Too much stars ? or maybe you could have tried a different setting lets say dusk?
character and the background has the same tones which makes a slight contrast loss.. you might overcome that by slightly playing with moon .. can be brighter, seems so dull..

good job on water.. its a good wall in overall just need a bit of retouch and some bigger resolutions :)

I really like the girl, in particular the hairs. They are very well done, and they go perfectly with the background. Sky and moon are good, but the water seems less beautiful I think.

Truly at first glance i took this girl for Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic! ^_^ lol.
But anyways.I think this wallpaper is sooo beautiful.The girl most of all looks really cool.
Love the sword.

Mostly a very nice wallpaper, the water and the sky are especially impressive, and the image quality and extraction on the scan is also great. However, some of the drawn aspects need work I think, the blood drops and the birds don't look convincing. You might also consider doing something different with the text, but for that, it looks just fine the way it is.

It's a good job and the back ground is great as well as the character.
The only thing I don't like is the blood falling from the sword which is not...well I don't know but ...It's not fitting nice with the wall

Very clean and finely perpared...but the wall itself, i think, has too many inner 'discrepancies'. like the blood doenst quite fit in , and the bg doesnt quite blend with the character.

but still, your work and effort is very apparent...the extraction must have been a biatch ;)
