Found a nice scan of Hibari on my computer and decided to make a wallpaper out of it.

Not too shabby for a first. :) There are two things that bother me: the use of background texture on the stock, it could be more subtle, he blends in TOO much for my tastes, and the use of text... I don't care for how you blended it, it's a little bit distracting. The lighting seems a tad off, but it's not too noticeable. I'd say next time go for more effects. Overall, it's nice, but could improve. Keep it up, and hope to see more from you! :D

This is your first wallpaper, but I won't hold back.

Not in love with the background. For future projects, note that default Photoshop filters alone do not make good effects. Since this was a vector, you should have tried defining outlines here and there in the background.
