Gokudera.. |(VcV)| emoticon

, Ive been working on this wallpaper for about 2 weeks now. It actually started off pretty simple and with some great comments and suggestions from session zero and the session zero forum its come along way. I know nothing about vectoring so the Gokudera Vector came from ~RoliSisters and can be found here. I did this wall using gimp and it has 24 layers. (which seems so little..lol) Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy. .(n_n). emoticon

Cool!
I love the font the most. Somehow the background does not seem to fit with the character and the font. Maybe because the background theme is gray and light yellow while the font and the character both have black and red; if the gray is darker, it would be more suitable. Also, the character is in the middle of the wallpaper but I keep feeling that he is more to the right; if the character is completely in the right or in the left, the arrangement of this wallpaper would look better.

Number 1 RULE when making vectored walls: Everything has to be a vector. Not just the main focus, not just the vector, not just a little thing in the background, nor just the background itself. Everything or nothing.

Also, the green doesn't fit with the Goku's colors.

I can't see where you're going with this wallpaper. What are you trying to convey? What emotion? What message?

I'm sorry if I'm harsh, but where's the gorgeousness in this wall? I can't see it. I see a great vector, a pretty green, mixed up together in the most horrid ways! No. No no no no no no no no NO!

Okay, i really disagree with what fourthespada says.
there's NO RULE on vector+vector. i mean i do vector+paint all the time.
however i see taht you could work more on the background to create some kind of more epic explosion thingys
and you should adjust the levels on the vector, because it's kind of gray.
and the text is not exactly fitting

I wanted to get the 1440x990 wall but the chara looks squished. So it doesn't look as good at the thumb on the page. That's too bad 'cause this wall has a lot of potential.

The truth I like your work, if there is anything that I see first in a Wall is in the balance of colors and this is very good.
The image quality is good and the character is consistent with the background.
