Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

My first wallpaper submission, featuring Sora and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts. It's titled "Distance" after my favorite song by Hikaru Utada (the m-flo remix of it is the best), since I think the song fits the characters relationship in KH2. The lyrics were supposed to be on the side of the wall, but they looked crappy so I took them out. You can put icons there or something...

Wow, sweet wallpaper!! It's pretty origonal, I've never seen the characters so close up before. The word Distance is really hard to read though. Utada Hikaru rocks!

Nice and practical wallpaper!
I liked the color scheme you're using. The background is nice and gives plenty of space for icones as you said!

Nice! the red seems to be glowing from the characters, but like others might have said the word "Distance" is a little hard to see. none the less this is very well done!

Very nice! I really love the way you made Sora and Kairi appear so sharp and so strong. Also I like the look and flow of the background, though I have to agree that "Distance" is a bit hard to read, but despite that this is still a great wall, instant fav. ^^

A nice wallpaper :) but not as impactful as your Roxas piece... although, this one still maintains a simple and clean (<-- word pun) composition.
