I've recently started watching FLCL (thank you Netflix) 'cause the last Gainax series I watched turned out to be my favorite anime. Obviously, I was very fond of FLCL, and decided to try my hand at a wallpaper of it. I have been working on this particular vector on and off for a few weeks.

I like it, anyway you could do better things on the background. The black background is too simple isnt it?
The light effects behind the chara is a lil bit too bright and the other light effects only need more color
variation.. but this only my opinion by the way.. ^__^ you can ignore it... keep the good work

I like the concept but the light beneath the head is too bright, also the bg is a lil plain, maybe you should try to add some crazy vector art the flcl style

I honestly really like this wallpaper and think its great the way it is, the problems mentioned are noticeable but there is soo much more you can do to it if you really wanted but its great as it is. The colour on the hand though is a bit blocky but not really noticeable, great wall.

What's with people complaining about the simplistic background? This wall is awesome! The vector is cool, and the lighting effects you have in there are top notch. Good job on this wall. +Fav

The vector is simply awesome, but the bkg doesn't really fit well. I think the initial idea you had is great- the swirly blue lights fit her personality- but somehow the scan & bkg don't go together 100%

A Haruko vector! She is so cool! I love it! You did an awesome job. o_O The glowing arrows in the front looks a bit out of place, though. -__-" But either than that, everything looks nice... I was viewing it in full view, after looking at it for a while.. it's kinda giving me a headache -__-" It burns my retinas. O__O Mostly because of the extremely bright light in the background. @~1@"

I don't care if its a simple background or what! This wallpaper is top notch ><!! All the lighting effects and the lens flare and EVERYTHING is so perfect >.<!! I like the colour you chose to use, it really makes the vector stand out! Great vector too!! Very nice! *thumbs up* Everything is placed nicely! The layout is great too, not too empty, not too much fuss =3

I like the idea of blending a vector with an abstract background, they look very nice together. One problem is some areas of the vector are jagged and rough, which is probably from the abstract over laying it, so its not that big of a problem... oh well, keep up the good work!

I like what you're going for here, but it's just not making it yet. Having a more interesting background would certainly help; the blue shinies are sweet, but not enough all by themselves. The biggest problem here, though, is that the character scan looks so washed out. This is especially a problem for the left side of her head. If you could fix just the brightness issues on the character, this wall would be 50 times better.

I'm kind of new at this, but if you ask me, the simplistic background blends and adds to the beauty of this peace. I've seen a lot of FLCL wallpapers with that image of Haruko, but none ever used it so essentially. It's a work of minimal effort, yet notable throughtfullness.

This wallpaper was actually well made, it could probably be classified as an abstract artwork. The character was well put together and placed and on top of that, with the magnificent glow added look, i will have to say, I love the wallpaper despite the rating which was given.
