AP Featured Wallpaper!: As most people know, I'm usually much more a fan of grunge wallpapers, so it may come as a surprise that I highlight such a bright and cheery wall, but with a vector so beautiful, it's hard not to. The angle is not your typical straight on, which makes the wall more dynamic and interesting, and the colors are just so bright and vivid, it makes me want to go lay in a field of flowers of my own. Hello, vector wall again since I’m addicted to vectors <3 emoticon

Please view the original widescreen because that contains the most the other resolutions are more or less cropped.
I had so much trouble and stress while making this wall (of course I enjoyed it as well) so I hope my effort is visible in the wall.
I used only Photoshop shape layers, round brush and gradients.
I had some trouble with the clouds, this is my first time to paint like this so that’s why they are not proffesional. :P
Her hair and the clouds killed me and I love the most her eyes ( you can see on the linked image it contains 24 layer =] )

My greatest thanks to ^Kalico for making me face my fears: The Clouds.
After I managed them somehow, I added some vectored birds and a rainbow.
And it became better with every day I touched it in the last 5 weeks.
Thanks to all of my friends who supported me with their words: December, Hamstersanonymous and Overbond.

Your vectoring is outstanding!! Sugoiii! That hair! And I love the bright colors! So refreshing! Though the clouds could be smoother I think, to match the silky/glass-like... ness of how the rest of the wallpaper is done. I think the bubble near her chest is not needed as it is kind of distracting, and the rainbow isn't needed to add to this wallpaper either. There is also a pink part by her mouth that makes her look like she was just punched by someone. The blush kinda looks like punchmarks too if you look at it. But, the grass and the flowers are incredible. Great job!! Wuah, I totally admire your work on the hair...

Well, what can I say. Crisp detail even at the highest res. I'm sure it would look amazing on one of those Apple Cinema displays. How long did the vector take you? It looks beautiful. So much detail >.<

These sort of meadow wallpapers are so hard to pull off. The perspective is usually not right, but you've really pulled it off on this wallpaper. Fantastic attention to detail with the grass. Everything about it is spot on. +fav!

Whoa, I'm seriously impressed. I don't think I've ever been impressed this much by a vectorwork since grayserg made his debut here at AP. You did a truly amazing job with the girl's hair, but the most impressive job was the flowers and the grass. You basically made the vector extra-detailed by using more than just one or two shading colours and by adding a lot of thin shaded parts to create enough contrast between dark shaded areas and bright ones to make it look more interesting for the eyes. I don't know if that was just intended or if it's the instinct who makes you operate like that on your vectors but that works really well. I am surely looking forward to more of your wallpapers in future. :)

The background is beautiful, the scenery and the colors are looking really nice. The character is looking good, she fits to the background well, though her gloves are a bit bright, it'd look better with a very little darker white. Very nice wallpaper.
