Well.. is really really simple...and calm..and soubi looks gorgeus..me loves loveless too...and seems that all my icons can be freely in my desktop...cuz it has a huge space for it...and i really don't get the first words.. under the text "the moon cast a curse".. . it say something like "u e cold light @~1@?* .. maybe is my eyes..dunno.
and the clothes..it must be a jacket..cuz he has his hands on his pocket..but..you put some fish and stuffs .. spcially where his name is @~1@..and for me it looks like a kimono now.. or something like that...it would be nice if the next time you take ot those fisshy things ^^;..

I find it easy to the eyes (not bright colours) and with a lot of open space for icons, I like that.
Also, I think it would have look better if Soubi was a bit more to the left, but if the scan already came cut that way, it would have been very difficult to change it.

I actually think that more wallpapers should look like this. A lot of them are too complicated and then you don't even have enough room to comfortably spread your icons on your desktop!

I love the image you used, and the colors are nice. The wallpaper feels a little unbalanced, though, with all of the art on one side of the image. Still, in my view, since my desktop icons tend to be grouped to the left, having pretty much all of the art located on the right is better than having it all on the left - less gets obscured.
