As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. DAMN!DAMN! this wallpaper didn't turn out as I expected... $/(>C<)\ emoticon$ guess I spend too much fun in vectoring Kahoko, so I did not planned for the background...Huff... the original scans was full of text, so I must re-cg most(a little bit) parts of it...like the violin, I have to vector it while looking at my own violin ...original scans...I'll submit the scans right away. This wall didn't have a story, 'cause I hate this wall (but I don't hate Kahoko, 'cause soon, she'll be my claimed girl |(VcV)| emoticon

the vector was created by thousand dots ougi (a technique which very suited for a very beginner vectorer) :

everything in this wall is vectored, except for the sunset, and the wall (it's textured...), and the sunset scene is made from my own brush drawings...

The vector is great... could have used different shadowing on the violin though, I dunno, making it more... smooth.
You used a bit too much sparkles, you could have at least used different brushes too, and the bigger ones are a bit pixelated.
But your vector is so crispy, and so are the curtains, good job with that...

what a beautifull vector that you have!
the girl looks awesome!! great job with it..
the only problem here is the background.. yes i know.. you have said that on the description.. the thing is that you have a very detailed vector of the girl and a too simple bg... you could have worked a bit more on it... make it more detailed and this would look great... also the picture at the back could be better... i would have picked a beautifull stock and blurry it...
Anyway nice job! it's an awesome vector.. and you are just starting! wow!!
i hope to see more from you!!

points for a perfectly copied vector (I mean; copied the original style of the scan), like Astrologica -san said, the lines are very crisp and smooth, but maybe you should have outlined the BG in a darker color, 'cause at first it looked like paint. And maybe less sparkles...

zomg what am I talking about, I didn't even put a BG in mine... lolz.

I can't copy-vector as precisely as you can. so...
