PREFACE

Thought of spending more time to see if there is any more tweaks to be made but had a HD crash last Friday night and lost all my PSD files (some reaching back to 2002), so might as well just post this up as I won't be able to edit it anymore anyway (and I don't fancy having to retrace everything and redo the background all over). 300GB worth of anime MP3s/wallpapers/scans/anime gone. I did pushed 500GB of stuff onto 2 external drives the week before and had planned to reorganized the remaining files first before backing up the remainders. What irony...

The loss of wallpapers and scans dating back to the days of AnimeBGX, MixedMedia, Anime Layer, Project Zen and Anime Project Alliance days is most unfortunate but will be spending the next few months scouring the net to see if there are any old sites still hosting these old wallpapers (the depository type like animewallpapers.com).

Anyway, got the image off imouto imageboard as linked below. Retraced the image in the same way as what I did for my Chocosis wall.

BACKGROUND

As for the background, kept it simple with minimal design since anything more sophisticated/busy would not only overwhelm, but also clash with the soft style tracing of the character image. Only widescreen is used since I can't fit in the text design the way I wanted it to be on standard 4:3 aspect canvas (Ayumi would block off most of the text boxes behind her).

Basically, that's it. No more editing this wallpaper since the PSD has gone bye-bye. I can consider myself slightly fortunate that I had copied this wall onto my thumbdrive though.
