As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. I've made this wallpaper a long time ago for a person, who still is vitally important to me, though we are no longer together.
Original scan.
I didn't really like the colors of scan, so I changed violet scheme to grey.
Background was difficult - I tried a lot of variations, but in the end decided not to lead attention from Fay.
The title is from James Blunt's song "Goodbye my lover".
Best viewed 1600x1200

Very nicely done. Honestly, your revisions to the colors from the original scan look so much better. o: Love the coloring, you make him look so pretty~ >w< Hehe. I also like the calm background along with how the glowy circle-thingies bring out the image itself too. /can't type things out today, sorry. <.<;;

Very nice but lacking that killer finish that would have come with a more detailed background. Great work with the glowing orbs and nice positioning of the character! Something to think about anyway! ^_^

The color of the background is nice, it's dark, and peaceful, and the white dots fit there well. The character looks good, though his hair color could be a bit stronger. Nice wallpaper.

Wooow! Your work looks so 'natural', yeah maybe weird phrase, but this is the first what come to my mind.
Your vector is really good, good that background is not 'rich'.
