Lets just say the idea initialy came from Need For Speed Carbon. I made a car with like 10 layers of tribal vinyl of similar shades of one color and i thought it looked pretty sweet and thus decided to copy that sweetness.
i "borrowed" the tribal designs heh. i applied the vinyl's to a car and took screenshots of each one that looked interesting, then i made rasters and so forth. lots o layers merged together to create jumbo tribal contraptions
erm, at first i wanted to have little tribal designs coming from his wheels as he went downward because the original picture looked like a "kamehameha" coming from his feet, but guess i got carried away...now it looks like a funky looking flock of sea gulls. tho i did attempt to make it look like a crow swooping downward. guess it died on the way down
i havent made anything messy ina while so i thought id dirty this one up...alot. if you are wondering, the streaks and scratches were made from embossed/highly contrasted/desaturated/color dodged Air Gear screenshots-no brush work here.
the vector i drew btw, so pretty much this entire wallpaper is hand drawn cept for the font. i can just feel the arthiritis catching up to me...oh and it has christmas colors...sorta
