I finally finished this wall

Ta-Chan, if you're reading this, Happy Birthday!! Here's an early birthday gift for you, I hope you like it ^_^ My computer is almost dead so I thought might as well finished this wall before it's dead and I can't connect to the internet to upload it.
It took me the whole week to finish
I vectored this scan. The outlines are killing me (and my computer too..). It's done with PS 7.0. I wished I can use Illustrator... The background leaves are from this scan.
This wall is going to be my entry for NEWA contest, best anime female role model. I choose Hikaru because she's so innocent and lovable. In this wall I wanted to, umm... show her feminine side, thus it's called 'Blooming'. I really like how she look on the scan, I think she gives the impression of a graceful lady and maybe a hint of divinity.
Well I like her because she's always so spontaneous and even though she's sometimes too naive on dealing things, she gets by by being true to herself. I mean that kind of attitude is rare in real life or in the internet. People are forced to be like someone other than their self to get other people to like them. You have to be pretty (or ecchi, in extreme cases) for the majority of the male population to like you. You have to have good marks to get accepted in a famous university, or to get a job in a big company. People sacrifice lot's of time and effort for things that are sometimes not worth it, for making them self acceptable by the larger mob. I think there will be less unhappy people in this world if they would just stop and take time to be them self. To accept things the way they are, to see other people the way they are, to see the goodness (or the potential goodness)there is in this world. Take Hikaru for an example. An ordinary girl in this world is a magic wielding heroine in another world. Sure it's just in a manga/anime, but the idea kept people's mind open for infinite possibilities. That's how I see it, anyway.
I'm going to take a break from walling for a while. My computer isn't going to last long... It's sad, but there's nothing I can do about it right now...
