Okay ... so brace yourself cause this one has a long story...

CONCEPT: let me start off by saying , for those of you who see the erotic in the wall dirty minded ppl yes!! that's what i thought when i saw it too and decided you know what , i think this scan should be cleaned and that theme should be followed up and expressed .The psd document is called "Angelic Release"

(which happened to be the original name of the wall ,but i thought i'd rather find something else more subtle )So it hit me like an orange to the head (which hurts mind you)

, it's actions, it's taboo,and it's wingless angels...

,why not name it something along those lines ,so up comes the fact that i'm creating a background from scrap ,cause i just couldn't think of a colour combination that will suit that scan ,so once again no graffiti/tag style

BACKGROUND : Well the images i have in my head sometimes man, nature or anything/one else can recreate , that being said i wanted incomplete ruins...the easy route was to scour the internet for a stock photo ,

yea i say it is the easier way cause i ended up doing more work in the end

so i found some examples in my cousins stock photo bin from her trips to Rome and Turkey , so i'm looking at them looking at my blank canvas and did that a few times till i got up and went to watch some tv .

CHARACTER SCAN:Came back to the wall to see my tablet off ... why you say? Cause i had brats home with me for their last two weeks home for the summer vacation ,

this sets the time to exactly one month ago :S

Knowing very well that not one of the layers were saved i basically had to work from scratch again, completed the colouring of the scan ,removed some details ,added some details , lost some details O_o...Separated the characters from the sheet

BACKGROUND PT2.: Started to construct the background so the most difficult part were the steps... each one i had to create then use pen tool and textures i sampled from the stock photos so hopefully they look as realistic as i think they do.

three days O_o!

Went on to the pillars, sigh perspective nearly killed me i literally sat the monitor down ,walked 10 feet back just to see if i got all four to look level yet angled.Then went on to construct the connector beams , then the back wall directly .

WAYWARDNESS: Took a break cause i got tired of the same thing and started extraction on another Magna Carta character which resulted in the wall Goddess of Tag

sat bored as hell Friday of last week , began playing with illustrators, vexel some lilies and that resulted in the other wall .

BACK ON TRACK: Ironically even though if you stare at the wall for too long you are going to begin to see one colour ,it actually contains over 147+ gradient variants of 46 hues ranging from gold to brown. Which resulted in me having over 100 colour layers

TEXT: Well it’s suppose to emulate a Roman ruin theme so why not go with Roman font :S (thanks to DaFont

EXTRAS: Textures:woods, concrete, Satin, Wool ,Rust ,Henna Ink prints, (all of my own collection)
Some minor bush work around the angel dust
