This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Xenosaga Episode 2 wasn't very fun.. and I never beat it. Thankfully, Episode 3 looks like it'll be good. I remember thinking when I played through Episode 1 that it was more like watching a movie than playing a game. Not that it was a bad thing, but it was confusing (and still is) at times. So I present the 4 versions of KOS-MOS! She's my favorite character and she kicks so much hiney. Photoshop 7; 3+ hours; on and off. Enjoy!

PS; All of the images are of KOS-MOS. The first on the left is from Episode 1, the next is from Episode 2, and the other two are both from the upcoming Episode 3. The large image in the background is also from Episode 2.

Interesting way of incorporating all the scans, but i have to wonder about the one all the way on the right, seems like Eps 1 kosmos, but something just doesn't seem correct to me about it. also your eps 2 kosmos sprite doesn't seem to fit in with the other 2 sprites. Really enjoy the background and the color theme. Very fitting for her color sprites.

I like it! Even though I never played the games, I do know that KOS-MOS kicks ass.. I watched the anime long ago and before you now start flaming at me that the anime might have sucked ... it doesn't change the fact that KOS-MOS rocks :D

Well the background is pretty because of the color theme chosen. I don't really like the way you incorporated so many scans into one wallpaper - looks a little overfilled. But on the other hand this is what makes the wallpaper kinda interesting :D

So good work! Keep it up :P

I figured out what tsaijo thought was off. One her entire suit is off; the deck on her forehead is different, the upper part of her suit is different and her right hip doesn't have the thing on it in ep1. The other major difference is the face. It looks more like the other two instead of the anime-ish one from ep1.

I think I'm only half way through ep1 (the dream boss battle with Shion and Chaos,) and I doubt that I'll ever finish it. I'm bad at finishing RPGs, which is a shame since I like the so much.

But otherwise, I really like it. Nice coloring and all three KOS-MOS's mach in color and lighting, which I would have thought would have been impossible since I doubt that you vectored them because of the amount of time you spen seems too little to do that.

The design the used for KOSMOS in Episode 2 was just awful. Maybe because I like anime style more. I hope in the 3rd episode they can generate back a bit and maybe have a cross of epi 1 & 2 for KOSMOS.
As you may have noticed. She a fav character of mine as well, so Of course I have to give this a FAV in bias. :)
But this is a good mix of the different evolutions of KOSMOS. Nice representation. Top Notch IMO. :)

Well the both outfits on the right are from Episode 3, I guess the first is made by Vector, the other is made by Shion and Allen. I don't wanna spoil too much, but I've read a little into it myself.

This wall is pretty. I like the whole 3D sort of thing with the characters. But they sort of look alike...is that how they are in the anime? im not a big fan of the bg. I dunno how i wuld want the bg to look......

KOS-MOS is the best, I love everything that has to do with her.

The one on the far right almost looks like a mix of the complete series 2 armor that nephilim shows shion in the alternate future, and the armor at the very end of Episode 2.

Spiffy lookin xenosaga picture. i like the kos-mos pics but who is that other pictures of? is it just suppose to be another version of kos-mos or some other chick. neways i still think its an awsome pic and keep up the goodwork

Good job, but the background doesn't really add any idea of depth, due to this, the three kosmos look a bit pasted on.
