There really aren't that many Final Fantasy 8 wallpapers out there, and I'm not sure why. It has always been my favorite Final Fantasy title and probably my favorite game ever. It was just heavily underrated, IMO. Anyway, here's a little tribute to Squall and Rinoa, dancing with Balamb fish. (I never did understand that song title).

Good wallpaper, thanks for sharing. I have to say, FF Vi my favourite as well and also noticed the lack of wallpapers.
I love the pinkish-blue background, and Rinoa and Squall is classic.
The only negative is Rinoa's face. Kind of looks like she got fat and doesn't look a whole lot like her.

This is a great wall paper, but I kinda wish the text above/below the small box pics wasn't there as I think it would look much better w/o it. I do agree with $OldChemist that Rinoa looks a bit fat/bloated. ^^;

Lol, I never really thought that. I found that image along with the one used in the game but I thought she looked more serene and friendly in this one, not fat.
By the way I wanted to mention the font I used was "Mutlu". I may have gone a bit overboard with it but I just love it.

I think Rinoa's larger look could be due to her skin color being close to Squall's shirt and also close to the color used in the vector squiggles behind her. (I don't know a technical term for those)

Having a real problem reading the final line in the title given it's contrast and font. Nice red/blue light colors scheme nonetheless!

Effects in the wallpaper are really amazing and fantastic. It's great!! Their journey find true happiness at last. They live in happiness forever like stories of tale. The final fantasy is still in progresss by new characters and wonderworlds.

In an attempt to explain the lack of FF8 wallpapers: from my expirenve with avid Final Fantasy Freaks (being one myself) Many people didn't like FF8 beacause of it's well long drawn out dialouge.
I disagree with most of these people with the arguement that they would not have complained if it were made in a more recent setting and featured voice acting. The people that said that it was too drawn out seem to be those that are just too lazy to read.
On the subject of your wall: I think it looks absolutley great. XD

I remember this scan from long ago. I loved it so much, I got a small one printed and had it laminated. Stuck it in my wallet. Loved FF to bits. You definitely splashed a lot of colors on this wall, that is nice to see, though, the text didn't do too well for me...Too cursive?
