As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

I feel there is a difference between craft and art. The concept arete comes to mind. Such as why you have artisans and artists.

Hello everyone !! ^^

Well this one is a basic. I worked on a small screen shot from the anime to vectorize the amazing Michiko Morenos.

(so in love with her <3 emoticon ).

I added a little make up, a nice sky on her hair with a radient on it and no more. Wanted to keep it very simple.

Hope you like it !! ^^

Nice wall.
I think you should use the bg totally fot the hair. The black hairs around her neck looks strange.
Or lighten them up will do^^

It would be great if the whole hair was clouded, and you could vectorize the rest of the image, to give more quality.

Creatively refreshing and visually stunning wallpaper!

I'm not familiar with the character nor the series. But the concept of using the sky as her hair is brilliant! Looked at both version, and I actually prefer the black around her neck, (for the shadow underneath her hair).
