This is basically an expanded and well colored version of the manga’s Vol 7 first page with a few extras.
I decided to make this one because the drawing atmosphere, even if it is B&W it impacts me at the first glance, like magic or brain washing, I could resist the temptation.
Most of the real pain was to recreate the background, since the raw material was originally B&W it didn’t give any clues about textures and lights effects, every thing you see there has been draw and textured by imagination and a little help from some of my own home made concrete textures.
I sent a version of this paper to Section Zero, the only difference is a few black fungus effect on the concrete wall and I change the sun position and other minor details.
I love this series so much that I all ready making another paper based on other Vol front page.
Well actually there already are 2 on the making and I got lot of B&W raw material, like 8 Vol and 85 Chapters heheheh
