I love saiunkoku, and I adore Kouyuu, but I am so happy to be finished at last! XD

So, yes, this is for fye-lover's awesome moar plz request of a wall of Ri Kouyuu from Saiunkoku. I'm not sure if it's what she was looking for, especially since it turned out a lot...well.. girlier, than I'd planned.

OK, well Kouyuu was vectored and painted from THIS scan. Well, not exactly, it would have been if I'd been smart enough to find it before I went off a smaller scan I already had

Sadly he was half painted by tablet, and half by mouse, owing to the premature death of my dearly beloved tablet. Which is also why the style of the flowers just doesn't match the main figure, since I do not have the patience to do that much painting with a mouse -_-'

I'd love to say i painted the background with the bridge, but it is actually a heavily filtered scan from an akihiro yamada pic. The birds are both from the original scan, with some minor extensions and tweaking.
