Made with Photoshop CS4! Approximate time taken: 30+ hours, with about 110 layers.
It's my first time using airbrush + smudge for painting on something this big so BE NICE. ;_; Criticism is of course welcome.
Vectoring this was really fun though, even with the reconstruction. Sadly I have poor wallpaper skills so it's not that great of a wallpaper. Made it in a universal size so you can crop it for your needs.

Final note: Thank you very much for the feedback! I have updated this yet again and the eyes should be brighter now and more adequate to the light source. I also edited the background and light a bit but that is barely visible.
