This started out as a manga coloring... ever since the chapter went out I wanted to color it. It was just too good to pass up.

This is from Chapter 239, pages 16-17, right when they're about to face off Byakuran and his Funeral Wreaths.

More effort was put into coloring the characters and blending the colors. I was finally satisfied with how Tsuna and Hayato turned out xD. Hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun making it xD

I agree that the text looks strange,and also,I would really like to see this with a little more quality...I know you just colored it,but could you have done something with the sharpness of the lines?
Also,thanx for providing the original pic,maybe I will try to vector it too,when I find time ^^

I'm not sure about the bevel and emboss you used on the buildings and text. it makes the sky look really flat behind them, doesn't really blend well. i understand the effect you were going for here, and i'm trying to think of another way it could be done easily.

you could try changing the settings on the bevel to chisel hard, then adjust the gradient, color and opacity of it. you might be able to hide it, and make it blend better that way.

I really wish u'd actually vectored the manga lines instead of just coloring it >.<
the manga lines + color overlayed just gives it weird quality
i agree with how the text needs to be fixed as well
i think more detail could b in the bg
but i like your idea of having them outside

The coloring is perfect but the writing style is quite strange and don't suit at all to Reborn
I think that the background is too removed and the sky too dark
However, all is good and quite pleasing to see

Well, paint manga pages is really hard, because one type of mangas has many gray scales and cover this efects is the hardest part in the process. But you made a good woork, except for the uniforms in girls of the right side, still looks unfinished (unless to me) i read that background is too dark but this is because is a manga sca, and there's some limintations. For the rest, congratulations you made a nice and dark wall, jejej

I would makybe have colored the manga scan in a much softer way, but these colors are still good too =) The buildings in the back perfectly match the mood and the real story! Great work!
