This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I've done quite a few of CCS wallpapers, but never get to upload. So I made this.. just for the sake of submitting to my Newtime Magic group of Hoteru-no-Shiki! *bows head in dismay* it's not nice as you can see..

what i wanted to portray: a cross between an old movie scene and a wonderful modern sparkle environment. get it? imagine watching all 3d effects from this generation in the year 2050 when all technology now is cheap. ^^ i said i don't like making sparkly wallies to much.. so i added the feeling of oddness; clean but dirty, sparkly but old looking.. just get my point!

brushes: DA, imanimetions and HG.

textures: trextures

buildings: sxc.hu. it really sucks to turn that photo from a daytime photo into a night look.

The background is cool and Sakura looks nice in that outfit, I've always loved that outfit especially the boots...i like the staff, looks like the same one from last episode.

Very nice style with the city. I have to admit when I saw it small I really wasnt liking the sky...but when in full view it just totally flipped my opinion upside down. Really well done! My new Wallpaper for a bit!

It looks as though sakura was vectored, wow, pretty impressive wall you got there.
Although I wished you have the glass in the buildings a more sheek, shinier effect to convey the crispness of the wall, i love crispy walls XD

I love the background, especially the sky. The fireworks and the other sparkly things you put in makes it look very pretty. I think Sakura should have outlines though. Right now I don't think she really fits in with the background. Nice vectoring anyway, and nice job on the wallpaper.
