Well, I nabbed this scan cause I thought it was cute about a month ago and never did anything with it. I finally went and made a grayscale vector of it [Im trying to get a vector section up for my graphic community MID, but I need at least 10 to get it open]. I sat there looking at it and though "I wanna wall you!"
And I did.
I wanted to do something simple, but looked kinda complex. A while ago I learned a nifty trick for having a 'brush inside a brush' look, so I used that here. I went made the one main brush, gave it a gradient, then put smaller brushes on a layer over it, gave them a gradient, then put them on different settings [usually just soft light ot overlay].
Then I sat there and looked at it and thought: "You look kinda empty..."
I tried a lot...but nothing looked right. I wanted to add text, but didnt know where to put it. Someone uggested to put it on her shirt, which I thought was a FANTASTIC idea, and put it there. Sure, it doesnt add much to the wall, but I think it gives it a nice...finished feeling.
comments, criticism and favs always welcome
