"Innocent World" is my first submission on AP. Also, it's the first time I tried to Vectorize a Anime Character. Many "first" makes this wallpaper kind of special and rememberable for me.
Well,it's vector work based on a scan on AP and other real photos. I traced and colored most of it in Illustrator, and then applied them to a background in Photoshop. In order to create an Eastern Style Wallpaper, I selected elements like Bamboo and and Crane and used color-burn mode to make them fit the background. In the end, I added some ancient style Chinese characters which means the title of the wall: "Innocent World".
The title of the wall also points out the theme of it. I viewed all the wallpaper in Shakugan no Shana's Category, most of them only focus on "Shana",the main character. So I decided to try something else, and Hecate (Itadaki no Kura) was just a perfect choice. Hecate is a sad, quiet character who was entitled as "the Priestess" in the story.She has no idea of good or evil and doesn't have her own emotion or feeling, the inside world of her is empty and innocent. Therefore, I created the "world" for her.
