my first wallpaper...
it went through fifthteen revision...
My zillion thanks go to fayt19, yuki, cad, arushi, gabychan, leviatan, lizorette, yuki-sa, cilou, micro, FPA, mizu, dam and more... (can't remmeber all)
they're really helps me through all the hardship...

I want to make scenic wall...
to convey the death of Itachi...
BG took most of the time... (17 hours maybe)
the grass go through five revision...
I keep making the grass over and over again...
I did char all over again for three times...
I vectored the char at the third time...
the hard part was to make the char fits the BG well...
I did it at the end...
I really love the outcome... I'm fully satisfied...

that's it...
my first wall and I'm happy to finish it...
hope you all enjoy it...

Really nice wallpaper you made. You had a lot of work and for a first time it did come out really well. It's not perfect but a very good start.
Try working more on the bg and you'll get the hang of things.

Congratulations on your first accepted item into the gallery! I don't know how long it took, but 15 revisions does sound very time consuming and I guess you can finally pat yourself on the back for a job well done! The effects are adequate but kinda lacks the execution, but everything else is decent, so nice work! ;D

So finally you submitted and got accepted. Congratulations on the first wallie.
Maybe it would look better with a vectored sharingan, but in overall I somehow like it, due the used colors and scenic background.
Will look good on my desktop.

In The Netherlands we got a saying "a good start is half the work". In a wallpaper, the "start" would be your scan and your concept. I've seen a lot of wallpapers that are just perfectly made, but simply lack a certain attraction because the image is 'emotionless'.

Looking at the thumbnail of your wall, I expected it to be just like that. But it just isn't. I find it really hard to explain, but there's a certain warmth coming from your wall -especially from the character- that's really attractive. So I forget about the aweful sky and flat composition and I especially forget about this wall being Naruto and give you a compliment for making a nice first wallpaper.

No seriously, I hate Naruto, but the character and the warmth make me think of Rurouni Kenshin, which is a good series.

It looks very good, the Itachi scan is awesome and I definitely love the sharingan behind him, very similar to a sunrise, which is fitting for your concept, being the death of Uchiha Itachi.
