Hello!
When I saw the first episode of FMA : Brotherhood, I was catched by this picture of Ed. First, I reconstituted it, because it's not a full picture, I captured three pictures that I assembled. Since I made the vector (6 hours).
I wanted insert it in a sad Bg, with rain, something rather depressive to show the feeling I felt when I watch this picture. I made and emphasized a fountain (painting) and a destroyed/damaged town. I added some rain effect in the BG, since I paint each raindrop around Ed. I added some fog, to increase the colt atmosphere. I finally emphasized the colours, contrast, saturation,... to harmonise the whole.
Thanks for your many advices and comments that help me to improve it!

The wallpaper doesn't flow together. On one hand you have a clean vectored image and on the other, a heavily filtered stock. There's a feeling of disconnect there. Either the vectored image needs to be filtered in the same process as the background or the background needs to be vectored.

Rain angle is inconsistent. To have rain droplets within the same area distance falling at different angles is not realistic. The angles should be the same because the wind strength is the same. Even with obstructions, you will get all raindrops in a particular spot falling at the same angle.

Rain splatters should be visible when striking against the skin as well.

Like I said in SZ, the vector looks really neat but simply does not match up with the filtered background - when you make walls, you try to blend in things more - if you vector, you vector/paint everything, not just a character. You always add filtered stock images for your backgrounds that usually don't go well with your vectored images. As long as you'll do that, your walls will always look mismatching. :/

And the rain still looks like white needles...

Hm, I like this but as others have said before me you need to work on not making the background look so filtered; it not only feels like a cheap effect but it clashes with the vector in the foreground. Speaking of the vector you did an excellent job and the raindrops are a lovely touch.

Whoaaaa. This wallpaper is so awesome...
This is better than before, I like the every part in this wallpaper, especially the background, that's caused of the fog... I like the fog effect, that's really interesting. But, I don't like the rain, It doesn't like real... But, this is really really good for sad effect... Great wallpaper for your great work.. Keep up always your great work!

I like the idea you have here, but I don't think the background and Ed blends together very well.
The background looks too filtered and the rain doesn't seem to fit there.
I feel like there's still something missing there.
Maybe Ed should be gray as well?
I can tell that you've worked really hard on it, so maybe for your next wall, you should try to flow together and maybe use texture.
