"As time goes on, the memories of the past slowly fade into the recesses of one's mind."
Yeah, there's my pathetic try at a poetic quote. Basically, this is a seasonal wall being uploaded in the wrong season. The memories of summer (the pictures in the scrapbook), are being slowly forgotten, since the season is changing to autumn (which is what the leaf indicates).

This wall is actually a total redesign of a wall I was working on around late fall that had a similar book atop a wooden desk. I couldn't pull it off right, so I reworked it to the wall you see now. Everything was pretty much made by me. The grass, the book, even the tape. All except the leaf, I suppose. I googled for a leaf image, and got stuck with a maple leaf silhouette that was really sharp and residue crazy. I was able to smooth it out, color it, draw in the veins (you can see how shaky they look. Curse this stupid mouse >_< ), and burn up the edges.

Thanks goes to Gloo for suggesting that I put the book in grass instead of on a desk. I'm sorry it took so long for me to get to it, but it turned out nicely in the end.
I'd like to thank everyone down at Session Zero, especially hamstersanonymous and Phoenix, err...puppychow16 for all their help. Of course, everyone who commented has earned my gratitude. Couldn't have done it without you guys. ^_^
P.S. Sorry for the horribly long description. ^^;;
