Well, this wall features Hunter X Hunter's Kurapica in his chain prison. I love Hunter X Hunter and it saddens me that there aren't more wallpapers for it. So I made my own. I first set out to make a Gon wallpaper but then I saw this picture of Kurapica and the idea came to me and I thought it'd be cool so I went with it. What I tried to do with the chains was to make some out of focus the farther they are from Kurapica, like when you look at something and the things in front of it and behind it get blurry and out of focus. Well I hope you like it.

Hmz...this looks better then your version in session zero. you changed the background, it looks better now. only if there where some more grunge brushes it would be great. the character looks kinda...bright...I mean..his hair and the lines are jagged. hmz...I don't like the font. it's too big and using alot of space.

Cool image, nice colors. The background is still a touch plain -- not that you want it too busy with so much in the foreground, but if there's fine detail in it I can't see it too well... not much contrast. Shadow of the chain seems a touch off, as well.

I love HunterXHunter! Especially Kurapica, he one of the coolest character in HunterXHunter.
Anyway this wallpaper sure got it's unqin part but the wallpaper looks a bit unclear and the chain is too "foggy", can't seen to fit in the wallpaper =P it's would be better if Kurapica is "foggy" a bit or the chain become more "clear" =P

Some parts on Kurapica are jagged and I think his hairs are too bright for this dark wall, would be maybe better if only his eyes were so bright.
But good job on the chains, the overall effect you get is really nice.
And like Meteorcloud already said, the font is way to big, maybe you should make the "Hunter X Hunter" thingy above the chain you used for the font.

Cool wallpaper. Kurapica is a crazy ****er. He's actually cool unlike some other guy who wants revenge for his clan and has red eyes.. *coughcoughSasukecoughcough*
And yes there's sadly a shortage of Hunter X Hunter wallpapers. =/

The idea is great. My biggest suggestion is to get some more wallpapering experience and then come back and redo a few things, because I really like this wall and think it could develop into something excellent.
1) The picture is pixelated
2) Try to make the rest of Kurapica brighter, making the character more of the focus.
3) The shadows are a great bit of detail, but too obvious and not big enough.
4) The chains only weave back and forth, in two dimensions. Making them go in three would really strengthen this wall.
5) The chain going in front of and behind Kurapica should be tilted backwards; otherwise it would never fit.
6) I love how you remembered to vary the size and focus of the chains, but I don't think it was done enough. More blur and more size difference is needed. Overall, the chains were too big, I thought. I don't think the chain in front/in back of Kurapica should be larger than the smallest chain featured on the page.
Anyway, sorry about seeming really critical. I just want to help this paper develop, 'cuz I really like the concept. ^-^
