Its been a while!
this wallpaper is pain in the head.
The wings are really hard to do
- i used pencil for the outline
- Soft Brush and smudge tool
this is the scan that i used

I really love this scan. So i had to make a wallpaper with it. I took her clothes off and added some bandages on her. (leg,stomach)

I love the wings in this wall. Not to mention that the first child is by far amazing. Nice work. I love the colors, the different design styles incorporated into her body, and the wings themselves. Amazing, a very impressive piece of work.

Those wings are amazing.
The vector, however is a bit too simple for my taste. Not that anything is wrong with that, it looks great, I just like detailed stuff. ^^

Great colours and composition - lighter on the right side and darker on the elft. Although the sign is rather unnecessary ;)

Wow this wallpaper looks so good. I love the butterfly wings there. However, too bad the scan does'nt blend in much with the wallpaper. You could've tried to make her glowy like the rest of the wallpaper. She just seems to stand out too much there. Well anyway great wallpaper. I would've so totally fav'd it if the scan blended in better with the background. ^_^;

Undoubtedly, undeniably and hands down... THE SICKEST Neon Genesis Evangelion wall I have seen to date... anywhere. The fact that the main background color is black is what makes this wallpaper shine... Because it makes the blues and whites what you used look so much brighter... For anyone who's seen the series, the "Broken Butterfly" theme is awesome, it fits Rei's personality and scenario in the story perfectly. Fonts are chosen nicely as well... If a picture is worth a thousand words then this wall is worth much more. I love it.

Love the wings, don't like the scan so much. I have mixed feelings about this wall. Seems like the wings don't fit well with the scan. I like the pose she is in but the wings are very smudgy and Rei is too clear. But I also kinda like it... AHH I'm confusing myself. :P Good job anyways. :)

That you used THAT scan for this wallpaper... I would never come up to that idea...
In full view the effects off the wings really come out gorgeous and the black background isn't really bothering me.
Maybe you could have used that sparkly piece on the leftside right under the title to full up the background a bit more. Just enlarged it a bit and made it a little more transparrent.
Also rei is very gradient and flat I see that you have made it look like she doesn't wear anything but a bandage, but this way it looks a bit pasted on it and that's a shame. Maybe a bit or shadows and darker and lighter tones would give her more depth.

Anyways, a wonderfull wallpaper!

The idea and concept are really interesting and they are beautifuly done >__<
but I think the sharp vector doesn't fit to the soft wings and to the quite mysterious atmosphere o__o
