Its been a while!
this wallpaper is pain in the head.
The wings are really hard to do
- i used pencil for the outline
- Soft Brush and smudge tool
this is the scan that i used

I really love this scan. So i had to make a wallpaper with it. I took her clothes off and added some bandages on her. (leg,stomach)

Love the wings, don't like the scan so much. I have mixed feelings about this wall. Seems like the wings don't fit well with the scan. I like the pose she is in but the wings are very smudgy and Rei is too clear. But I also kinda like it... AHH I'm confusing myself. :P Good job anyways. :)

That you used THAT scan for this wallpaper... I would never come up to that idea...
In full view the effects off the wings really come out gorgeous and the black background isn't really bothering me.
Maybe you could have used that sparkly piece on the leftside right under the title to full up the background a bit more. Just enlarged it a bit and made it a little more transparrent.
Also rei is very gradient and flat I see that you have made it look like she doesn't wear anything but a bandage, but this way it looks a bit pasted on it and that's a shame. Maybe a bit or shadows and darker and lighter tones would give her more depth.

Anyways, a wonderfull wallpaper!

The idea and concept are really interesting and they are beautifuly done >__<
but I think the sharp vector doesn't fit to the soft wings and to the quite mysterious atmosphere o__o

Wow...I love the butterfly wings, and how you made them look like fire. The blue really fits Rei, and the contrast between it and the background's awesome! Simple, but nice. Er...I dunno if my parents will approve of it for obvious reasons *grin*, but it's nice overall.

Truly nice work with the wings. gotta say im a bit of a sucker for the blue colour schemes in wallpapers. I really like how you used the bandage, which was a nice touch:)
