The amount of patience, hard work and an eye for quality is what defines this wallpaper. Character is painstakingly vectored off a real life toy image with references to screenshots. Despite the difficulty level, ~pvc24 still manages to nicely depict the image in anime fashion and yet able to find the mental strength to come up with a background composition that is both aptly fun and pleasant in atmosphere.

Ah yes, rag doll. Possibly one of the most disturbing walls I've ever done. But don't blame me--it was recreated from how it appears in the anime (the extended version, I think).

Explaining what it is about would probably count as spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the show.

Anyway, I regret the text now. It's just naff looking, but the wall is very old and I didn't really know better. Plus I wasn't so anti-text back then, I guess.

Yeah, you're definitely right - this is disturbing...
Nonetheless the strenght of the image pefectly makes up for the empty space. In every other wall it would be out of place, but here it emphasises the general feeling of total despair and loneliness. Great concept art!

Yes...it is very disturbing that I have this wallpaper in my 'collection' from 2006...
plz credit properly for the work you did and what you did not...i mean, when i found the wall i have in my collection it doesnt even have a signature on it...and all i see what you did is just put a signature on the wallpaper and claim that it is yours...=_=, not cool...

Yeah, so i looked at the wall, and immediately recognized it. then i said (actually said) "that's just disturbing." and lookey here, you said the same thing. hmm. well as far as the wall goes, you made it nicely, as nice as disturbing can be. you isolated the feel of the scene and the wall immediately conjures up the thoughts of that scene, and makes one remember it's significance. that makes it a good wall, however disturbing it might be.

Uh who ever said you stole this is the ultimate in douche-bag-ery. they obviously do not know that it is you who made it.

this IS a very memorable piece, and i still like it even now. and you're right about the text, it is very cringe worthy, but things were different back when this was made.

but a pressing question: why on earth are you resubmitting everything? i'm so confused.

The text seems simplistic in a wrong way. I think the simple, straight cut white coloured and thick letters you see in the anime all the time would be a better font for 'Neon Genesis Evangelion'.

This has been one of my favorite walls i've seen till this day, and i recognized it the second i saw it. all i can say is amazing on the previous and the new. + Fav all over again <3 emoticon

Eee! I love it when cute things are scary, lol. Even though I've never seen the series, I thought I knew a lot about it, but I guess not since I've never seen this doll before, lol. Anyway, yeah, it would be better without the text, but I love how the doll is dangling there and how there's an evil glow around it. So fav!
