Finally, i made an evangelion wallpaper. my favourite anime series of all times :D. taked from evangelion 1.0 : you're (not) alone, here's the result with a lot of clone stamp and patience (almost 1 1/2 hours doing this) . blood taked from google, and scan by suemura. enjoy it and comment plz.

The scan is very nice, however, it bothers me that Shinji is right in the middle and that the top splatters seems to be end at the same distance. Also, the top left splatter is somewhat distracting. Overall, a nice wallpaper with a good theme.

A bit sad atmosphere ,suits the expression of his face well,but maybe the brush is used too much,the blood stains and spalshes on the bottom-right somewhat is a bit distracting.

So it's just a blood stock above a scan? I mean the concept your had in mind was nice, but you could have elaborated on it much more in my opinion. If you were trying to get the blood to seem like it was actually part of Shinji's surroundings, I think you should have tried to keep perspective more in mind. The blood doesn't look like it's on the stairs or a part of the piece at all, it looks more like someone spilled jelly over their tv set and you can't see the stairs anymore. Work on your composition and experiment more with some adjustments.

I really love the concept. Like other people above had said though, the bottom left blood splatter is distracting. I think if you spread it out a bit more evenly it would look better. Like a couple of hand prints and smears on the stairs, a smear or two on the wall next to him; I think that would look good. You did an excellent job clonestamping the others out though.

Here we have a portray of a confuse, sad and apathetic boy stained by the consequences of his actions. Which by the way, receive this weight on his shoulder without accepting it.

Bloodprints in the background is impressive. They are drawing Shinji's deep pain in his heart. His situation be alone is his only way to save himself from his pain.

Sorry, but is not just a blood stock above a scan, if you look for the original scan it has some characters on there, that's the reason i splatt all that blood on there, i know downstairs blood is a little distractive but i wanted to make a litteral bloodbath and downstairs were touji and hikari. i know this could look so simple but i liked that way, not all could be vectors explosions :P

Wow this definitely fits the EVA series motif. There is a lot of imagery dedicated to blood within the series, so using it for wallpapers brings out the darkness and despair it imparts.
