As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Ha ha ha now I'n super anoying on the next level next ima grunt a strain for 15 whole minutes! until veins pop out and my my hair glows yellow like i was a part of some nuclear fall out
WOW!! looks so depress and sad.. !! lovely wall of paint one of the asukas faces... maybe with out the splat on her face.. it becomes better, but nice concept...
Cool colors, they fit nicely with Asuka's usual palette. It's a nice vector too. Might not have splattered her face, though. It seems a little distracting. Overall, its looks pretty good.
Wow! the background is just sooo nice! XD i like the darky feeling looky altar or something ^_^'
great job on background! ;) the vector scan is nice too! love those cool outlines! XD i've just love those smooth outlines ^_^ though the only thing that bothers me is that the colors of the vector...well yup thats the original color of the scan though i guess it would be totally fit the bg if you make the colors a little bit darker so it will fit the background's color. but overall grat jbo on the bg + the outlines of the vector! +fav! ;)
Asuka's face in the wallpaper is not only cynical but also gloomy. She is expressing deep scar behind her beautiful face. The coloring is harmonized with her.
Nice work. I like the depressing look, because it is what Asuka often feels within her.
The vector is clean and the background is well .. a bit too grungy, but I think it still works out well. I don't see any blood on her cheek - probably due to second revision. I think it's better that way, because her problems seem more subtile now. The coloring fits a scene from NGE where Asuka thinks back of how her mother treated her etc.
Oooh, I love the solemn and morbid look of it. All the red in the wallpaper flows nicely, especially with Asuka as the stock, it's even more meaningful just because of the character's personality. Excellent job! :-D
Asuka looks good, but I don't know how she fits into the background. If it wouldn't be just a switchboard, but it's just gloomy like this, nothing more. Nice wallpaper though.
